Welcome - my name is Ros Devaux.
I am a practising artist and teacher with experience from the National Art School and hold a Diploma in Fine Arts , Drawing, Painting and Design from the Julian Ashton Art School.
I have been an Arts Educator for over 25 years and specialise in life drawing.
Drawing and teaching art is my passion.
I am currently running classes on the Sydney's North Shore for beginners, high school students and the more experienced who wish to develop their technique.

The mediums offered include conte crayon, charcoal, pencil, gouache, egg temperer, gold leaf and oil paint.
I will help you aquire the skills that will give you confidence and lead you to your freedom of expression.
If you are beginning the journey I will teach you and take you through the basic concepts, practising each stage and moving at your own pace until you are confident to go onto the next stage.
I will help you resolve the areas of difficulty you may be having with your work. A confident understanding and ability in drawing supports the student to explore and experiment with artistic ideas.
For the more advanced artist I will help resolve those areas of annoyance that keep holding you back from moving forward with your projects.

Tuesday 6-30pm to 9-30pm
Sunday 10-00am to 1-00pm
There are limited vacancies and students may join classes mid term.

There is a frequent State Transit bus service, Wynyard to Chatswood.
Routes 272 and 273 and street parking is also available.
I am happy to discuss your individual needs and will provide a list of materials you will require prior to commencement of a class.
The classes numbers are small and we work in a warm, friendly and relaxed atmosphere.
